Privacy Policy

Last updated 27 August 2026

The short version Your tickets, photos, signatures and job records are saved on your own phone and are never uploaded to us. There is no account to create. Three things do leave your device, and they are each described below: paying for Pro, unlocking Pro, and using the optional Clean up button.

What stays on your phone

FieldTicket runs entirely in your phone's browser. Everything you create in the app is stored in that browser's local storage, on that device:

None of this is sent to us, and we have no way to read it. We do not operate a database of your tickets. If you export a backup file, that file goes wherever you choose to put it — we never receive a copy.

What leaves your phone

1. Paying for Pro

Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. When you buy FieldTicket Pro, you enter your payment details on Stripe's own checkout page — those details never touch our site, and we never see or store your card number.

Stripe gives us the information needed to run the sale: your email address, whether the payment succeeded, and the status of your subscription. Stripe handles this data under its own privacy policy.

2. Unlocking Pro after payment

After you pay, Stripe sends you to our welcome page. That page passes a single Stripe checkout reference to our server so we can confirm the payment really happened and show you your unlock code. Nothing from your app — no tickets, no photos, no signatures — is involved.

3. The Clean up button (optional)

This is the only feature that sends anything you have typed off your device, and it only happens when you tap it.

When you use Clean up, the text in the work description box is sent to our server and passed to Anthropic's API, which returns the tidied wording. Your unlock code, the ticket type and your trade go with it so we can check you are licensed to use the feature.

Your photos and signatures are never sent. Only the description text.

Because that text is transmitted, avoid typing anything into the description that you would not want leaving the device. We do not store the text after the response comes back. Anthropic processes it to generate the reply; under Anthropic's commercial API terms, API inputs are not used to train their models. See Anthropic's privacy policy.

If you never tap Clean up, nothing you write ever leaves your phone.

Website analytics and server logs

This site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel's servers record standard request information such as IP address, time, and which page was requested.

We also use Vercel Web Analytics on the site and the app to count page visits. It measures traffic in aggregate and does not use cookies to follow you across other websites. It does not have access to anything stored inside the app.

What we never do

How long things are kept

Your app data stays on your device until you delete it — we have no copy and no retention period to apply. Payment and subscription records are kept by Stripe for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host for security and troubleshooting.

Deleting your data

Because your tickets live on your device, you are in control of them. Clearing your browser's site data for FieldTicket, or deleting the app from your home screen and clearing site data, removes everything permanently. Export a backup file first if you want to keep your records — once it is gone, we cannot recover it, because we never had it.

To have your payment records handled, or to ask what Stripe holds about your purchase, contact us using the details below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information held about you. In practice the only personal information connected to FieldTicket is what Stripe holds about your purchase, since your working data never reaches us. Contact us and we will help with any request.

Children

FieldTicket is a tool for working tradespeople and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes that affect how your information is handled will be noted on this page.
